The yoga we propose

We are interested in both people who approach yoga for the first time and advanced practitioners, and our will is to offer proposals for everyone. We want YOGA & YOU SPACE to find that integrative and personal evolution space that we are looking for people who approach yoga.

The duration of the classes will be 90 minutes. They will include asanas in sequence of standing, sitting, lying down and inverted postures. We will dedicate a time for breathing, meditation and relaxation, so that the benefits of practiced yoga are maximum. As usual, practitioners will have to be at the center at least 10 minutes before the start of class. Likewise, we intend to incorporate regular meditation classes soon at different times.

We open this center in Espartinas, being our purpose to offer the appropriate inspiration, support and teachings so that people can build a daily practice and evolve in it, maintaining curiosity and constancy. And, of course, enjoy the wonderful benefits of this discipline, which only a few decades ago did not even exist in the West. As the great yogi Swami Sivananda said: “A gram of practice is worth more than a ton of theory.” Our doors are open to everyone.

It is true that there are many schools and variants within yoga, but in the end the root is the same and there are no secrets: yoga is silence, effort, patience, dedication and technique …, as well as enjoyment and delight in the presence of the body performing This dance that integrates body, vital energy, mind and spirit.

Our idea is, on the one hand, to carry out intensive weekend seminars inviting reputable teachers, where we will review different yoga styles such as Iyengar, Anusara, Ashtanga, Sridaiva, Power Yoga and others.

On the other hand, and focusing on yoga for the community, we will set up groups of practitioners during the week. Classes will be within the parameters of the Hatha Yoga and Hatha Vinyasa Yoga tradition (which includes dynamic transitions). But as we are innovative, we like to be eclectic in the preparation of classes, and we are very aware that the person has to adapt yoga to his body and his reality; and not vice versa.
